The ancient cut-out cards
Cut paper is a very ancient folk art, over a thousand years old, the exact origin of which remains a mystery, given the perishable nature of the paper itself.

In the municipal library there is an exhibition of cut-out papers as well as the sections "Topics" and "Postcards from China" which deepen, through texts and images, various themes concerning this distant and fascinating land.
From China to Monzuno
In the "Giorgio Celli" Municipal Library there is the "Archivio Fiume Giallo", an impressive collection of monographs, periodicals and material on China which constitutes a unique heritage of its kind. divided into two main sections: books in Italian and books in foreign languages and the topics covered concern China in all its expressions, from the literature of the great classics to the works of the most recent writers, thought philosophical, history, Mao and the cultural revolution, the Tibetan question, the study of the Chinese language, theater, geography, photography, art, archeology, astrology, cinema, the condition of women, medicine, cuisine, and countless essays on this great country . The Archive also includes a rich collection of magazines published by China, in Italian and Chinese and from the 1960s to the end of the last century and, today, hard to find in China itself. Magazines that document a period of great historical interest through literature, social sciences, current events, commerce, sport, cinema, photography, comics.
