Monzuno
Crossroads of paths, it leads to the Apennines of the Path of Gods trail and a land of great naturalistic treasures. Welcome to Monzuno, among centuries-old chestnut groves, ancient fossils and vertigo-proof panoramas!

The charm and the traces of a thousand-year history
The beating heart of the Via degli Dei, Monzuno can certainly be defined as a crossroads for walkers because it offers many, many possibilities to prepare the backpack and set off to discover the thousand paths. Located along the Gothic Line of which you can still see shelters and trenches, it is also part of the Naturalistic Reserve of the Pliocene Contrafforte, a true geological museum in the open air where, walking through woods and ridges, you can search and discover fossils and shells, evidence that in these places there was once the sea.
In the lands of Monzuno there is Monte Venere, with its legends and a breathtaking panorama from which to see the Alps up to Mont Blanc, the Historical Park of Monte Sole, full of paths dedicated to the Memory of the Second World War and Monte Castello, on top of which stood a fortress destroyed by the Bolognese during the "Battle of Monzuno" in 1376!

From Monzuno to China
In Vado, inside the Giorgio Celli library, the Domenico Strangio collection is kept: dozens and dozens of books in Italian, French, English, Chinese and a collection of numerous magazines published from China. Among original posters, printed in China in the 70s and 80s, a collection of Discs and Stamps, the photographs of places and everyday life captured in the trips that Domenico made in the most important Chinese cities and inside the country, where life of the people still takes place according to ancient rhythms and centuries-old contradictions, here China comes very close to us showing itself in unprecedented ways right here, in the lands of BOM!
